Conscript and rebel System/Amount of troops allowed
Now in the 1300s WR, we had a problem with invading player lands because peasants would come out of nowhere and fight the invaders. The supporters of conscripts said it was more "realistic" to have rebels fighting for their motherland, but the ones who were invading argued that this game was already unrealistic due to such large standing armies.
I think both are correct. So we will have a conscript system (0.25% of your population) for when you are being invaded. CONSCRIPTS = Q2, BUT WILL NOT BE NEEDED TO BE PAID. Countries can have drafts, but only up to 3% of your population. Drafts can happen at anytime, unless much of your land is lost and your low on money. DRAFTS DO COST MONEY. However, you will have consequences for making your people fight against their will. Here they are:
.26-1% - You will have -5% in population. Your people will become slightly angered, and thus crime will rise and possible damages might happen to your lands (will be decided by admins on basis of would it happen in real life).
1-2% You will have -10% in population. Your people will be angered, crime will happen, and damages will occur. Possible desertion depending on events (will also be decided by admins on basis of would it happen in real life).
2-3% You will have -25% in population. Your people will be enraged. Riots may occur and possible count rebellions. Desertion will happen. Revolution may happen (once again, this will also be decided by admins on basis of would it happen in real life).
** Now .26% has a lesser chance of all the consequences then .9%, but can happen.
Rebel/Partisan System for Players
This is used only when the whole country has been conquered and occupied by a foreign entity. If half the country is occupied by an enemy, then the other half gets no rebels. Simple as.
Roll of - Quality - Army Sizes
80+ - High Quality Army - 10,000 and lower
60-80 - High Quality, but few cavalry - 10,000-12,000
40-60 - Average, no cavalry - 12,000-14,000
20-40 - Bad, with about 2,000; at most spearmen - 14,000-15,000
0-20 - Terrible, very low Q troops, mere militia - 15,000-16,000
Rebel/Partisan Reinforcements
A quick roll much like before, but with smaller numbers. If you actively engage the enemy, then you will get more reinforcements.
This is the Reinforcements that will be given for an army actively engaging the oppressors.
Roll of - Quality - Army Sizes
80+ - High Quality Army - 2,000
60-80 - High Quality, but few cavalry - 2,000-4,000
40-60 - Average, no cavalry - 4,000-6,000
20-40 - Bad, with about 1,000; at most spearmen - 6,000-8,000
0-20 - Terrible, very low Q troops, mere militia - 8,000-10,000
Rebels that do not engage the enemy will get no reinforcements.
After 4 years the Rebel faction ceases to exist. It can't go on forever, just no sense in it.
If anything needs to be ironed out, post and you shall receive.
But populations of nations will decrease greatly and not allow each nation's army to have implausible numbers. Countries will be allowed to use 10% of their population for their troops.
